Are you a compulsive buyer?

contrary to other people who have difficulty getting things to buy whenever they are inside a shopping center, it took me a long time to decide whether i should purcahse an item or not. well i am not really a compulsive buyer as i always ask myself if it is something i really need or something i just want. I guess it's a good habit but can be annoying to the ones i am with sometimes when i am shoping as they find it tiring to walk around department stores.

Sometimes I am, sometimes I am not. Sometimes I see something I like and think about whether I want it for weeks, whereas sometimes I buy things spare of the moment. These times are the times that I am down and enjoying some retail therapy.

I used to be a compulsive buyer. A very compulsive buyer at that. However, I have learned to be a practical consumer. I do not spend that much money for shopping now. I am happy that I am no longer a compulsive buyer now. I am more careful in spending my hard earned money.

The only other person I go shopping with is my g/f and then it is mostly for groceries.I am a lousy compulsive shopper and only buy specials etc.If she plans on going mall-shopping,I will bring along my diet drink and a book to read in the car while waiting.This system seems to work well for us.
