A popular Korean salon in town is having a special sale this month. Always the bargain hunter, I'm going to drop by sometime this week to have a hair cut. I'm also getting bored with my hair, so I'm thinking of getting it straightened or permed. What's better? What kind of hair do you have? Is it easy to manage?

Hi! Well, I havent permed my hair yet but I have had it straightened. You see I have natural bushy frizzy hair and so its always a toss between the two. But I went for the straightening thing rather than the perming. I really have considered it but knowing my hair and with the hairdresser's advice my kind of wavy hair comes out really kinky when permed and so that would just worsen my problem of really unmanageable hair. After I got my hair straightened I can use conditioners and it works really well but with my natural hair only shampoo will do and conditioners tend to dry my hair and make it more frizzy. Well, since I havent really seen you personally or even a photo I really cannot judge which I think would be better for your. I guess if you have really straight hair go for the perm for a new look but if you have a bit of a wavy or poofy straight or curly even then I guess its the straightening that would be great. But I guess the only other real person/people who can tell you what looks good on you are your friends who will give a truly honest opinion about your hairstyle. Goodluck and have fun!^_^

It all depends on the quality of your hair. If your hair is thick and black it is better to keep it long and straight. Young girls should maintain their beautiful lock naturally and not spoil their hair with all the chemicals by having their hair curled or dyed though its the in thing now. A time will come as you age when the beautiful hair you once had thin down.
