i think it is depending for the person. just like me for example...i am really like progressive metal or power metal or power symphonic genre. the bands such as: rhapsody, symphony x, gamma ray and others band. but, believe me, i don't have a wild side.

I think somehow music is a reflection of our personality. I like to listen to songs that someone won't normally listen to, like songs from Regina Spektor (I mean, all of her songs and not just some that made it big). I like being weird in my choice of songs because I like being seen as a weird guy. It makes me feel extraordinary.

I've noticed that it really does effect people. A lot of teenagers especially. That's how most cliques start these days. You have the rockers, the hip hoppers, the teeny boppers, etx. It's so lame. Music is suppose to bring people together, but for teens it's different, I guess.

i think that is all dependent on your personality. That is to say,if you are a person who is easily swayed then it might affect you. I know some people who are not affected by the type of music they listen to. You would never guess they liked heavy music because they are so mellow and shy.

For me, Music doesn't really define my personality. See for me its more a reflection of my mood. If I'm mad about something I will cruise down the road blaring some rock. If I'm generally in a good mood I will usually play something a little calmer like techno.
