I live in the US - in the state of Ohio. I have a hubby (of 3 years), a 24 year old son and an 11 year old step-daughter. I don't work outside the home because I have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. I've been writing since I was a small child, though, and sometimes I'm able to sell my writings to magazines and other publications to help out with our bills. I studied French when I was a kid - from 2nd grade through 12th grade, but I have not used it since. I wish I had... My favorite things to do to pass the time are reading and writing. I'm a Christian and a certified lay speaker in our church, so sometimes I get to preach when the pastor is going to be away. (I'll be preaching on July 13!)

Hi there! I started on myLot about a year ago, but I was on a hiatus of sorts because I had some medical issues that forced me to go into a rehabilitation/nursing facility. I worked as a child protection professional/social worker while I lived in Florida. I moved to Chicago about a year and a half ago, where I had my accident and ended up in a rehab facility. I just recently moved back to Kentucky (where I was born) and am awaiting my first disability payments. I love to take photographs, paint, draw and sculpt. I recently became a new mommy to my four-legged buddy, Buster. He's just a puppy, but he follows me around wherever I go. I love him dearly, and I love it when he curls up next to my head when we go to sleep. He likes to be under the covers with me, too. I like to read all kinds of books, especially vampire novels or popular fiction. I found a new author a while back, John Ringo, and I love his Kildar series. And that about sums it up for me.

Hello, I am in Alabama in the US. I'm originally from Georgia though and hope to get back there eventually. We moved here because my husband had to switch jobs when his plant closed down. I have been married for almost 18 years and have one son who will be 17 in October. He is a great all around person that I am very pround of! He will be a junior in high school this year which makes me feel very old! My husband works putting electrical poles up and getting them working. He is a wonderful husband and I love him dearly. I don't know what I'd do without him! I am a freelance writer. I'm really new too it but loving it so far. I finally found a place that I'm actually making a pretty good amount of money with writing my articles so I'm happy about that. I have also put together some books and eBooks that I'm trying to sell. Nice to meet you and have fun here at Mylot!
