Anyone watches UEFA Euro 2008?

Euro 2008 - The UEFA Euro 2008 logo. Euro 2008 is a football competition in Europe between all countries and states of Europe. Holders of this competition are Greece which are already eleminated in the first kick-out leg this time.

I know football isn't a very popular sport in the USA, since they're more in fond of basketball and baseball. But I'm going to ask it anyway: is there any american (or non-american) who's following the Euro 2008 competition in Europe? If the answer is positive; What team do you think is going to win? What is your favourite national team? Any favourite players?Personally, I think the Netherlands' chances are pretty high to win this competition, they're playing very well so far. My favourite team however, is Portugal with the well-known dribbling star Christiano Ronaldo. So what about you?

hi there, i'm a big fan of euro too.. i like germany and i hope they win.. but you said right, netherlands have been doing a petty gud job and portugal as well.. today its a crunch time for both the big teams, italy and france.. so lets see who lifts the cup.. cheers!!!
