If time is a factor, I fly. If convenience is a factor, I drive. If enjoyment is a factor, I take the train.

Depends on where I am going and when I have to be there. If I have all the time in the world I would prefer to drive. I have travelled by air, train, and car. I prefer to drive because I like to stop and sightsee as I travel. You don't get as much freedom to experience new things if you are trying to make a gate for a plane, or transfering to a new train.
