is gateway going under? =(

i love gateway.. all my pcs up until recently were always gateways and i NEVER had probs with them and recenly we got dells since one was a gift and the other one was one i bought and i chose dell over gateway due to price since gateways are more expensive now.. when my hubby went to an interview for dell they said that gateway was going under.. i never hear any ads for gateway anymore and even though i know they have a website still are they going down?? =( i hate dells with a passion since i have worked on them for years and the ones we have have had are the worst freakin pc's ever!! always crashing and freezing up.. but yet i see dell every where.. i really hope gateway does something because as soon as i can i want to replace this piece of crap!!
