I found more than One member those who hold the same Avatar..
I was really shocked, because a couple of minutes back i have respond the discussion of one of my friend who is have the postings of 9000 and more, then when i click the discusison with no response, i found the same avatar but the postings show as just "5"..
For a fraction of second i really shocked.. then only i realize that the user name got differed..
You can find the same people like Iswarya Rai with different poses with different members of mylot.. that you can able to identify, and differenciate.. but its tipical the same avatar.. I don't want to specify their name or username here..
I am not in a possition to say this is right or wrong etc.. I just thought of share my feelings here.. as disucussions..
Did you find anything like this in mylot.. somewhere..?
Please post your comments..

It really becomes tricky situation, when you find two members with same Avatar. I feel one should carefully select his/her avatar, so as to make it more catchy and unique. Using the photos of Ashwarya Rai or any other bollywood star is not a healthy practice. I have seen very fascinating avatar over here. Even, my own Avatar is liked by my dear friends here....LOL!

Of course there is always a chance that you will see different people with same avatar unless the avatar is original (self created, specially designed for you or your photo)... There are a lot of sites who has free avatar sets/packs for you to download and use, and usually there are same images (with some exceptions)...

I think this will happen soon or later. Especially if you use a famous people pictures or cute animal pictures. With the growing number of member in mylot, I bet there will be same avatar soon. Can't blame the other person too because you don't have the right of the avatar picture. So, what you can do, contact the person with the same avatar and solve the problem. If you don't like it, just change with other picture. Good luck.

Since I am new I have found many users with the same avatar as me. I guess if you are just picking a picture that is public and out there for anyone to grab the chances of someone else using it aren't out of this world. In fact there are probably users you see other people's avatars and like them so much they get one similar for themselves. I guess it beats showing up to a wedding wearing the same dress as someone else, especially if you are the bride.

I've seen that happen too.
When my friends change their avatars, I
don't recognize them and have to look
at the user names. Sometimes I forget.
There's only one other person (maybe two) that
has a penguin avatar on MyLot. I'm lucky, I guess.
I've often thought about suggesting that my penguin
go on a date with the other member's penguin.
It's a thought!
If I used my own photo, then noone would ever
be able to copy me.
A friend of mine uses a photo of her daughter and that is
unique and special. I might do the same.
Avatars are an expression of our unique online personality
and it's not a good thing when someone simply copies that!
Thanks for the fun topic.
Be well.

I noticed that too. Somebody who was my friend and another one, a stranger to me had the same avatar. I don't see that it's a big deal because if they really wanted a unique avatar they would take pains to make it unique. Picking an avatar from the Internet, one is bound to have a couple of hundred or thousand people with similar tastes. They would have to be in the same room sometime. Cheers!

there is always a chance that two different users might pick'
the same avatar. that is not illegal nor too unusal it just
'happens. It is not wrong, it is just a happenstance.
Nothing to get upset over.
