How to keep mascara from melting?

How do you keep mascara from melting onto your face.
I'm using the mascara which is not waterproof. Do you guys have any tips to prevent the mascara from migrating under my eyes making me look like a raccoon?

there are smudge proof mascaras try those instead..i do not know about the regular mascaras if there are ways to prevent them from melting..But i have used before waterproof mascaras and those doesn't make me look like a raccoon..^_^

yeah, i know about the smudgeproof ones but I have a hard time removing them...haha,, how do you remove them by the way?

hahaha so that is your real problem? im using make up removers..go get a piece of cloth put some of those make up removers then i wipe my lashes with the cloth..hehehe i have long lashes that's why i am able to pull it and wipe it with the cloth..^_^

actually i dont use a mascara...even on specially occasion.. i just dont know why i hate it..maybe i dreaded the time when its going to make a mess in our eyes just like what you had stated above..

mascara being a boy have never use mascara in my life
