Don't you just love baby kitties?

Our mama cat has the most beautiful litter of five kittens - one yellow tiger, three dark gray tigers and one light gray tiger. They just have their eyes open and are starting to climb around. Growing up on the farm, the kittens were always my favorite baby animals - and we usually had plenty of them! I guess I need to start thinking of names for all of them!

Yes, I love kittens and puppies, too. We had a homeless kitten running around between my daughter's house and mine for a couple of days and he/she was so cute. But, we already have two cats who didn't like this kitten and my daughter has a new baby herself so we gave the kitten to my stepson and his girlfriend. It actually worked out better for the kitten because they already have one a little bit older so they can play.

These will probably all stay around here - we live in the country and we're more than happy to have cats to keep the mouse population down.

We can't resist baby kittens, they are just so adorable and very very cute, the cutest part is when the kittens in 2 - 3 weeks, oh my God, they're adorable!

That's so sweet! Yes, I love baby kitties too. We had three kittens outside our house the other day. And then the landlord came by and mowed the grass and she scooped them up and ran away with them. Now they don't live outside our house anymore. I'm sure another female cat will bring her babies by. My daughter loves looking at them. But the problem is that she wants to adopt them all! We usually leave plenty of scraps for them. Guess I'm a country gal at heart. I love all the little critters and don't mind seeing them around my house! I call them my outdoor cats. Good luck on the litter. Be well. Have a bright and beautiful day!

Congratulations newtondak! I always love hearing about new born kittens and them surviving past the first few weeks. We actually have 2 sets of kittens here: My cat( I call her Pink) had 6 kittens 8 weeks ago but 1 didn't make it. And her sister had 5 kittens 5 weeks ago and they have all made it. Both litters are of pure breading of Norwegian Forester cats so they're long haired! :D We have them all pretty much homed at this stage!
