No matter how hard I try, it seems that I always fall short... I can't please anyone... and I used to be able to overcome this... but b/c everyone is telling me or thinking that I'm always falling short, I actually might be starting to believe it... Have you felt this?

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Well, as long as your conscience is clear, why pressure yourself with someone else's expectations? You respect them but you gotta respect yourself too, just be honest with yourself & treat yourself wellCheers & have a nice day!~
