i'm thinking of getting a tattoo and i'm not sure which part i should get one on. i'm afraid the part i might choose would be too painful.
any ideas?

i have heard that the most painful spot to get a tattoo is ether the ribcage or the area right where your butt turns in to your upper thigh

I currently have 3 tattoos; one on my right arm, one on my left shoulder blade, and one on my lower back. The one on my lower back hurt the most, at the time I was very thin and he hit nerves while he was doing it and I would flinch. I met someone who got a tattoo on his head and I would think that would be the most painful place, your head bleeds so easy I couldn't even imagine doing that...ouch

I think it really depends on ones tolerance to pain...I have a high pain tolerance for example so what might NOT be painful to me is for some other ppl ya know....In any case to my understanding some of the more painful places would be the ankle, top of your foot, skull, neck and collarbone....Other than that I really dont know..

i have 3 tattoos: one on the back of my neck, one on my wrist, and one on the middle of my back. the one on my back hurt the most for me and my wrist hurt the least, yet i've talked to people with tattoos in the same places and they've felt that their wrist tattoo hurt more than their back tattoo. it all has to do with the person being tattooed and their tolerance for pain. some people are more sensitive in some parts of their body than others.
