Do you like mangoes? In the Philippines, we have many kinds of mangoes. We have mangoes all year round. My favorite is the carabao mango, the biggest mango we have.

i like mangoes too. When i was yet in the Philippines, I always have that mango Cebu. The best type of mango I've ever tasted. When I migrated to the US? I can't find anything like that here. No best mangoes here in US like what the Filipinos have in the Philippines. I missed the mangoes...

Yes I really do. You can not find seniguelas, lanzones, rambutan, durian, jackfruit and even young coconuts. Oh!!! I missed these all.

I love mangoes but here in UK we only get one kind which is oval and quite small with orange flesh and a flat stone. We only get these in summer. I had no idea that there were different types to choose from

When you visit here, look for carabao mango. It's twice as big as an average mango. Its flesh is like that of an apple but and its sour taste is just fine, not too sour. If you try it with bagoong or fish paste. its heaven here!
