What are your eyes like?

I have two different colored eyes. One eye is blue, and one eye is some brown-green-blue mutt of an eye. It is a mutation that one or two people on my mother's side of the family has. My eyes were supposed to have the recessive blue gene, but one of my eyes did not seem to get the message.
What about you? What are your eyes like? If you have a picture of them, and the ability to post it with your response, please do so.

Hello valenas!Wow.You got such unique and beautiful eyes.Mine is brown.It's not dark brown and not really light brown either.Just between that.LOL.I don't have a picture of my eyes but that is the best i can describe about my eyes.Cheers.

mine have been weird.. my family swears they are blue.. i have one pic where they look blue.. most of the time it look gray-green to me but who knows.. i think its cool you have two diff colors.. your very special!!

yeah but dont peoples eyes that change color change often? these are over years so it would be like 5 years between the pics not often.. i dunno.. i just know i have heard of people that their eyes would change and it would be all the time.. but it would make sense if it was more gradual

I think that both are possible. Gradual does make more sense. A bit off topic, I was born with blonde hair, but mine gradually changed over to the dark brown/black that it is today. Well, over the course of a year or so, but it was not immediate. Now it is gradually changing over to white, and I am not yet eighteen!
But, anyway, I think that those who seem to have eyes change all of the time may be somewhat due to the effects of makeup and the contrast of the clothing, but that is just my opinion. I am sure that there are some out there that actually have eyes that change.

My eyes are hazel so they change color sometimes, but both of them change to the same color. I think your eye colors are pretty cool.

My eyes are big and beautiful.Well,I don't really think so but many people say so to me.My eyes are black.Common colour.Typical Chinese eyes.I think the eyes when I was a little girl would be more beautiful than now.Because I wear glasses now.I regret not protecting my eyes in the past.So protect your unique and beautiful eyes!

My eyes are having a color or Dark Brown. It sometimes appears as if I'm having Black eyes but i'm sure i have Dark Brown eyes. Its very rare to find people with Black eyes. Also its considered as people having Black eyes are Beautiful.

Since I don't have the ability to post a picture, I changed my avatar just for you and just for this discussion! LOL
My eyes have been called "cat eyes" many times =) It's usually the first thing people comment on (as I'm sure you are used to as well!) I think they are green, or maybe hazel, but in the right light they turn a light blue...odd.

I saw that you changed your avatar, and I thought, "Wow, what pretty eyes!" I did not connect it to the fact that you had seen and responded to this discussion. They look green to me, and I really love green eyes. Most people that I know with green eyes have such unique personalities. Thank you for responding. (:

You are officially awesome in my book. I've always wanted two different colored eyes. I've heard about that trait and I forgot about the actual name of it. Man, I wish I had this. My eyes are brown. I guess you could say they're a chocolate brown, lol. I don't like them because I've always wanted green eyes.

Awesome? Thank you. Brown is a pretty color, but I agree with you about the green eyes. I love green eyes! If I was forced to trade my eyes for a different color, it would definitely be green.
I am not sure what it is called either, I just learned in my Biology class that it is some sort of genetic mutation.

My eyes change colour, it is not just me that thinks this, other people have told me this too. Some days they look blue and other days they look green. I think this is down to the fact that I had blue eyes for most of my childhood until I was about 13, but both my parents have green eyes, so they are still deciding what colour they are. I also have a yellow circle around my pupil and a grey line around the outside of my iris.

They hazel. They turn really bright blue to baby blue, to green, to dark forest green, sometimes it's 2 different colors. But that's on rare moments xD

I have light blue eyes with gold brown sparkles in it.
And in some light my eyes seem to look a light green.
