written in spanish which states that he can no longer be cared for. He was found with a Winnie the Pooh back pack diapers and some bottles.
Now this is sad. But so much better than those horror stories of babies in trash cans. Do you think the mother may change her mind and return for him?

It is not any better really that she left him at Wal-Mart. The child could have wandered out, been ran over. He could have been picked up by a pedophile and no one would have even known the difference because he was left there alone. It is pathetic, in every state you have the right to turn your children over to DSS and relinquish your parental rights. She should rot in jail. God bless this poor child, its a shame that some great people are not physically able to have children and people like this are.

I am sure that over time and if her situation changes, the mother will return for her child.. she must have been awfully scared to leave her baby there or either she just didn't care.. I could never imagine leaving a chld like that.. I think that it is heartbreaking to hear of stories about children being abandoned, abused or hurt in any way..

OMG that IS so sad!!! BUT like you said at least the mother did this rather than leaving him in a ditch somewhere or in a garbage can or dumpster.....If she were to change her mind and return I would be very surprised if she got her little one back without there being charges and an investigation of some sort

Unfortunately, if the mother changes her mind, she will likely be charged with child endangerment.

That is the saddest thing I've ever heard. But yes, you are right that at least the parent left the child somewhere that it would be found rather quickly and not just left alone somewhere. You hear about all of these sad stories of people just leaving their small children home alone for days at a time with no food, water or even electricity and it makes me just want to cry. I think if they come back for the child, it's going to be a hell of a battle to try to get him back
