Can u sleep with no fan or AC at night?

No it is surely not an easy job to sleep without an airconditioner and if the power happens to trip then it is a difficult job to have a good sleep. One thing that is satisfing using an aircon is that for some period even after the power trips the room remains comfortable for sleep and normally the power cuts at night are not too long and the sleep is hardly disturbed.

I tend to get pretty hot at night so if I do not have A/C or a fan at night I get pretty hot and just can't stand it. I toss and turn and sleep really lightly if I'm not cool.

I dont have an AC but i do not sleep with out a fan. I have been used to it and since it avoids mosquitos i use fan daily while sleeping.

I don't live in a hot country like yours, so unless it's summer time we never use the ceiling fan (except to amuse the baby), and we don't have AC in the house. I have a nephew that is just like you. He has to have a fan going (his parents bring a generator when they go camping) in order to go to sleep. I think that it's a noise thing.

I can not sleep without the fan.

I've never had the issue of the power being shut off in the middle of the night but I would definately wake up if the fan went off. That constant "wurrrrr" is like white noise for babies and puts me to sleep. I also need to constantly feel circulated air. Nothing is worse that some stale air.
