I am a pickle-minded person eversince. If I can remember very well, I WOULD LIKE TO BECOME A DOCTOR when I was a kid!!! But as soon as I started my Elementary education ... I WISH TO BECOME A SCIENTIST!!! Then on my highschool days... I DREAM TO BECOME A LAWYER!!! and on my last year as a senior high... I HOPE TO BECOME A PSYCHOLOGIST!!! But guess what, I wasn't able to fulfill any of those dreams. LOL NO DISAPPOINTMENT AT ALL because I AM A NURSE NOW and studying TO BE A TEACHER as well. Please do remember one thing, that even if our plans seem to be as good as we knew it, ONLY GOD KNOWS WHICHEVER IS BETTER FOR US!!! NOW It's your time to share your childhood dreams and aspiration... I will be glad to listen to it.

Hello Jhordie, I was shy back then and very picky! I have no specific dream before...LOL, I just want to act out a lot, maybe I had the frustration of becoming an actress...And used to love to play guitar but ended up knowing only few basic things about it. In High School, I wanted to become an accountant but end up to teach Math...

You still have some relation with what you initially dream of... ACCOUNTANCY involves math... You manage to have a job with math on it... but whats great is that you were able to share your knowledge about math to other kids. God bless you my dear teacher friend. Hope to be like you someday.

when i was in grade school, i wanted to become a nurse. after getting over it, i wanted to become a flight attendant. i also dreamed of becoming a supermodel, unfortunately i wasn't tall enough to become a flight attendant or a supermodel. in my final year in grade school, i wanted to become a pediatrician but i got scared because i'm not fond of science and i'm not good in memorizing data. when i got to high school, i wanted to become a civil engineer, after that i also wanted to become a Math teacher because i LOVE MATH so much! during my last year in high school i decided to take a business course. when i was in college, i wanted to become a lawyer. i also wanted to become a pre-school teacher. after that, i also wanted to become a College Professor aside from being an Office Executive. until now, i dreamed of becoming a flight attendant, i am willing to exchange my profession for that. i remember when i was in grade school, i also wanted to become a professional tennis player which i am aspiring for until now although it seems very impossible these days. and another, i also want to become a host of a sports or lifestyle show in tv or in CNN, specifically. i know you're only asking about my childhood dreams and aspirations, but i guess as i aged, there are still a lot of things that i want to do or be in life!

I wanted to be a vet. I was really into animals when I was younger. Dogs were all that I was living and breathing for. It's weird how time had changed. I still like animals, but not as much as I did when I was younger. When I was fourteen my choice changed to a lawyer, lol. That's a huge gap between being a vet and being a lawyer.

I'm a writer. Or at least that's what I'd like to call myself even though I haven't been established as one. And I wanted to be in a band too.

When I was a little girl,I wanted to be a translator.Because I love English very much.So I studied quite hard to realise my dream. When I grew up a bit,I wish to be an artist. But because of the hard lessons in high school,I had to give up my dream.I had to prepare for the Collage Entrance Examination to entre a good university. Now,the exam has finished and I can do what I like.Life will go on and studying has not been over.So I still have so much to learn.I will be brave enough to face the challenges in the future.I believe I'll realise my dreams one day.

In my younger days, I had contemplated the life of a farmer to be my maiden choice. The life of a farmer has always been one of blessedness to me. Till now I keep a lot of love and regard for the farmer who toil hard t earn a livelihood for himself as well as paving the way for feeding other hungry mouths. To me the farmer is the embodiment of worldly virtues.

I didn't have many dreams of career aspiration as a child. Such things were not encouraged for girls, only boys. But I did want to be a writer and I grew up to become that. I have written several ebooks and numerous paid articles online. I feel like I've accomplished my career goals.

Its funny how our dreams yesterday is not what we are living today...when I was in kindergarten, I wanted to be a Dentist - an influence by an Aunt who usually came to visit us those days. When I had my first molar tooth pulled out, I changed my mind, so when I was in 5th grade I wanted to be an Engineer, just out of the blue idea, the sister of our neighbor was a lady Civil Engineer and I thought perhaps I can be like her. In high school, I didnt know what I want. Then, I thought maybe a lawyer, an engineer, computer analyst, mathematician...the list goes on. Guess what Im doing now... none from the list! But I know what I want to do in the future! I just want to travel and see the world, guess its what I've always wanted to do.

Indeed, when we were kids... we are easily persuaded by just anybody around us. Making us so unsure of what to do in our lives... It only makes us JUST A KID that shouldn't be too serious but rather have FUN living our life. Now, what field of work are you into? Hope you don't mind sharing it to us. Thanks for responding and hope to read more from you on my other postings here.

When I was very young, and just like any young child, I had many aspirations. The one I can remember the most was to be a house wife and take care of my husband. I also wanted to live in the country. The combined dream was for me to be a house wife and live in nature, and take care of my husband and children like a good mother and wife should. I live in the country now and with my fiance, we do not have children yet. Have a Wonderful day!

Yes, I wanted to be a teacher so bad once... I would play pretend all of the time.. I would pretend that I was the teacher, and I had make- believe students in my class. I would past out papers, and talk to the empty room.. A few times, I would use my cousins to act out this fantasy. It was fun, teaching at this age.. But now, I don't have a passion for it anymore..

Hi my friend, I also wanted to become a doctor but could never afford the schooling for that. I studied and became an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) and also got licensed as a Phlebotomist. Paramedic work was a wise choice because I learned so much and this knowledge will be with me for the rest of my life. Now as I am older I also have another interest that I want to pursue Graphology the study and analysis of handwriting. I have always loved penmanship and handwriting and I would like to become certified as a "Handwriting Expert". Maybe one day you will see me on Judge Judy checking the authenticity of someone's signature. LOL!

I am really happy meeting a phlebotomist, because we do have some sort of similarities... both in the field of medicine. And about your dream to become a Hand writing expert... Why not, I hope and pray that you'll be able to achieve that dream of you as well. GOD BLESS

I have always wanted to be a singer, for a long as I an remember! And a few years ago I got to record my first cd and I have sang in a talent showcase in Nashville(Music City.. hehe) twice. I have even sold some of my cd's. I still want to make it, more than anything. But sometimes the obstacles and pressure seem like too much, and I don't know if I'm strong enough to handle it. I mean, I am not going to be content to being a small time singer my whole life, for some people that is a great goal, but I grew up wanting to be a superstar, and with all the stuff I went through I really think I have earned it. I just hate that talent isn't the only thing you have to have to make it. More recently I have been doing a lot of research, I feel like I might have found something I want to go back to school for to study as a back-up. I want to become a Certified Surgical Technologist. It looks challening and probably hard, but also looks exciting, and I'd be helping doctors helping people. But I don't know.. right now there is no money for me to do this, and there is so much pressure for me to work on making it with my music. I just know I don't want to be 30, have failed at my dream, and still not have career options. I know people go back to school past age 30, but I just don't want to get out of the whole school routine, I'd rather go back sooner and work on my music career and a back-up career. But definitely my top career dream will always be to be a singer and entertainer.

I have no doubt that YOU CAN REACH your dreams... because you already set a goal and you are really striving hard to achieve it. JUST DON'T FORGET TO PRAY! Because He can help you even more. But as you said, you still need to have a real stable career by earning a degree or something, especially we can't remain young and having our pretty voice til we aged. By the way, have you tried auditioning for American Idol? If you have plans this next season, please do tell me so that I can see my friend even if I am miles away from you. God bless you and hope to HEAR YOUR MUSIC someday

When I was really young I wanted to be a Veterinarian or Doctor. In Kindergarten the yearbook asked us what we all wanted to be when we grew up and it was put under our name in school year book. When I graduated high school I wanted to be a doctor still...then I didn't have the grades or like the classes much so I decided to be a paramedic instead. That didn't work because while going to school for that...I hit a city bus with my car and got too scared to drive in the city (as well as foolishly taking an exam that same day and flunking it by 1% and getting asked to come back next year). So here I am now...a computer technician...atleast something has to come to me when its sick!
