Woah, sweet! Does this work while your comp is off? Because I don't see how it would be incredibly helpful otherwise. I always turn my computer off, better for it.

i too are intrested are can this work atleast when you computer is on standby becouse i know that there are no way that he can work if my computer is off :? btw. on this principle is working only a clock on computer who doesnt have any alarm except that he is only counting seconds

It looks neat and configurable but nothing is of any use if one turns one's computer OFF to save power!
I use Qlock as a world calendar/clock, alarm clock (when I need it) and countdown timer. Part of my job was to invigilate online exams (which meant that every student would start and finish at a different time). I could set multiple events with this and it would alert me when each student was due to finish and should finish.
Now, I only use it to tell me what time it is in the various countries where I have friends and contacts.
