I helped out at my grandfather's shop when I was little, not a job since I didn't get any salary from them =P My first job was an outdoor sales promoter when I was 15 or 16, I think. Anyways, I "quitted" after 3 days, got a serious sun burn and I hated the product and the job itself lol. I didn't get any pay from them either. From then on, I never looked for an outdoor sales job anymore. After a week, I found another job selling food and goodies for Chinese New Year, it was so much fun! ;D

My first job was when I was in highschool. I worked at a convience store that sold gas and groceries and they also made pizza's needless to say I didn't much care for it but it was money coming in to pay for my car!

My first job was working with my dad. He is a roofer and I would help him throw shingles in the bin after he ripped them off of the roof. However, I would not consider that my first "real" job. My first "real" job was sorting corn at a place called Hewitt's Sweet Corn. I would sort through the corn for deviations like worm holes and scratches from birds and mold, etc. It was pretty nasty and not too great to be honest. You would have to sit around at a conveyer belt and sort the corn for about an hour or so at a time then clean up and then start again and you would have one lunch break. The days were only about an average of 4 hours long though. I was 15 years old on this job. It was nice to earn some money for myself and I spent most of it on CD's and some on video games, concert tickets, etc.

I was a junior in high school when I got my first job. I worked at a retail store throughout the rest of my time in high school and then quit during the summer before I moved away to go to college. They wanted me to transfer but I chose not to. The money that I made went to paying for car expenses and the rest was saved. All of that time spent working paid off because I saved enough money that I do not have to have a job while I am in college.
