I think I started when I was about...seven to ten years old. My mother drank it every day and I would have a cup on Sundays after church. Back then, I would have milk and two spoons of sugar. Now, I cut down on my sugar but increased the cups.
In the story, "I Remember Mama", the children were allowed to drink coffee only by means of a lump of sugar soaked into the liquid. I give my children (13 and 11) coffee...but I put in more milk into my son's cup.

I don't remember when I started drinking coffee and why. I think maybe one of my freinds sent me some coffee and then I took it and, then loved it. I usually have my coffee with milk and sugar.

I had diabetes and lots of friends when I was young. This was when diet sodas and such were really vile, so my doctor suggested that I order black coffee when my friends ordered Cokes. It worked! I've loved my coffee black for many years, but lately I've been trying a little sweetener and cream now and then, which makes it an entirely different drink! I guess I do really love it, because someone did a caricature of me and labeled "Queen of Caffeine"!

I occasionally drink coffee. Which is when I can get my hands on it. I enjoy the taste of it actually. Secondly I like the caffeine and the energy boost I get out of it.
I like Double-Double Coffee, but I can drink it black as well. I don't drink coffee from places such as Tim Horton's, because my parents make it a different way. They make it on the stove. There's this metal cup thing that you fill up with the coffee (I like Irish cream best) and add water. You put it on High (I think) and you leave it there until it begins to boil. As soon as foam starts rising you take it out. Remember not to over-boil it. It's a small amount, but it's really awesome.

I started drinking coffee at the age of 14 My parents drank it all the time, My dad was a big drinker when it came to that.. He normally always drank it black though with nothing in it.. Just never tasted right like that before, though sometimes not often I will drink it that way normally though I need to drink it with some kind of creamer or milk just a little bit..Just a habit I guess.

I started drinking coffee because I always liked the smell of it, and I wanted to know how it tastes. I loe the taste of coffee. When drinking a regular cup of cofee I like it black, but when I am in the mood or something dieen, I like a mocha latte with whipped cream on top, and chocolate syrup drizzled oertop. I'm drinking one o those right now, as a matter of fact.

I don't drink coffe myself - I don't really like the taste of it. I am more of a tea drinker myself.

When I was young, I didnot take much liking for coffee, but as I didnot like the taste of milk also, my mom used to add a very little of dicoction. After getting married, the entire family of my husband's were drinking very strong coffee almost 4 to 5 times a day. And I slowly learnt to drink a bit strong coffee and now I drink strong coffee twice a day. I dont take more than 2 cups of coffee in a day.

I started drinking coffee because my dad drinks it and I take it black just like he does. Eventually, I started drinking it because I really like the taste, I'm weird like that, most people drink it for the caffiene!

Drinking coffee for me is something that just happened .I never could understand why my parents drank it each morning . I did not start drinking coffee until I moved in my own house .It was something to sip on and help me wake up .Nothing now like a coffee in hand and chatting away online.

I started drinking coffee when I was about 12. My grandmother used to give it to me so that I would take my asthma medication. She had to make a trade with me or I wouldnt swallow the pills....lol She would put 2 spoons of sugar and abut half milk. Since then Ive cut back on the milk, but had maintained the 2 spoos of sugar.
