Would you get married just because your pregnant?

I think you don't even need to even think about some getting married because you are bring a child to this world. Yes the child will need a mom and a dad but you don't have to get married to do that. You should only do that based on who you two are. What would you do in with that problem?

I did this! I got married when I had my first child. I was scared and didn't know what to do. I was young mother just out of high school , no job experience with a new baby so I got married. Now I am divorced but if I had to do it over I would have stood on my own to feet and taken care of the baby by myself. My beliefs then were a child need to have a mom and dad under one roof. I never had that because I was raised by a single mom. Now I know it does not matter as long as you love and care for your child and provide for them as best you can.

I couldn't have said it better, but yea I still think the father need to still be in the childs life and help to take care of it just to make sure you both are in it's life. I don't know thats just how I was brought up. My mom had me like one or to years after high school and her and my dad didn't get married they just was still goin together. but sometime down the road my dad got in jail and he still stays in my life no matter what and he still takes care of me to this day, cause im now 16 and he just got out like 2 months ago, but yea they both need to stay in the childs life but not by gettin married.
