avril lavigne's "the best damn thing"

I like most of Avril's songs. However, I did not quite believe the "dark, punk rock, emo-ish" image that she projected in her "Let Go" and "Under My Skin" albums. Her album seemed more natural, more her, and more fun to listen to. The title track may get her more attention, with the way it sounds a little bit too egotistic (i.e. spelling her name in the bridge part?!?!). She really needs to bounce off from the "Girlfriend -Boyfriend-Rip-off" Scandal.

I think her songs from the old albums are better than the new ones. The new songs kinda have that pop tune to it. I hate pop.

I can't wait to hear it!
