Britney Spears Mom Writing a Book Parenting Book

It might be a best-seller on how NOT to raise children! I agree that her mom obviously didn't do such a good job of raising her own. It looks like she's just in it for the money. I would be embarrassed and choose to keep myself out of the public eye if my children acted like hers have. Yes, she needs to be READING books about parenting, not WRITING them! This is an excellent example of 'the blind leading the blind'.

That woman has nothing but money signs in her eyes. It'll just be the name that draws people, not the content. I would never, ever buy that book. I think I might be a bad parent (I'm not married or anything) but I will NEVER read her book! I'll watch Nanny 911 instead!

yup... absolutely right. Lynn should just be busy parenting her own children than trying to help other parents in taking good care of their kids... Is her frustration of being a good mom popping out from somewhere? have she finally realized that she just couldn't look after her daughters so she will do it for others? Are moms out there willing to listen to her? i dont think so... my advice to Lynn is to write a book about how she lost control of her own kids and what to do about her life as a failure.

If I had children, I wouldn't be taking her advice! Obviously she isn't the best person to tell people how to raise their kids.

i agree.. but from what i have heard she is saying through out the book that britney is only messed up because of her dad and that she didnt cause it.. umm there were TWO parents here.. i would think that she had SOMETHING to do with it.. yeah i dont think you can totally judge a parent on if their teen gets pregnant but compared she has brit all screwed up then jamie lynn all messed up i find it hard to think that she could be a good parent or at least as good as she wants to seem.. shes just trying to rake in some money because as soon as jamie lynn becomes of age she doesnt have a piggy bank anymore so i guess she is gonna try to make some money so shes not homeless later.. another reason she wanted the pics of jamie lynns baby done before she got married.. she wouldnt get any money from it if she had gotten married.. but oh well!!! definitely not a person to guide others!!

I think the mom has no idea on anything and who in their right mind would read what she wrote . Maybe , many people will read because they are curious . I just won't take advice from her . No way in heck !

Well I have to disagree. I think that everyone can give some good advice here and there. And we don't know that this woman is a bad mother just because her kids made the wrong choices in life. Even the best mother in the world can have at least one child that has messed up. And I don't think Ms. Lynn is all that bad just because her daughters made some wrong choices. She also has a son who is doing great, but that is besides the point.. My mom was a wonderful hard worker and so was my father, but I still managed to be a wild teen and even messed up once or twice as a young adult. People make mistakes even if they had good parents growing up. And another thing is, I think Lynn would give good advice, maybe she has learned from her mistakes and is trying to help other mothers out there with their teenagers? I'm all for giving people a chance before I mock them.

Maybe shes writing a book on how not to raise your kids!!?? She could be sharing their mistakes with the world so that noone else will have family disputes like their family have had!! I mean after all if your kids have everything, what will they have to gain apart from losing it all?? Im surprised Jaime has stayed out of the limelight for so long except for when the world found out she was pregnant!! Hopefully she will do a better job than Britney has with her two children!!

I completely agree! The entire family is a complete mess and she's writing a book telling others how to take care of their family?! You're right, she should be concerned with her own girls, and the well-being of her grandchildren!

I totally agree with you on this one. She def should not be writing a parenting book expecially the way both of her kids have been acting lately. I mean Britney is pure crazy lately. I hope she gets her act together because I actually once upon a time I thought she had some real talent. Now looking at her it seems to me that she has just lost it. Jamie Lynn on the other hand yes that can be a mistake, but when your kid is pregnant in high school and being little girls idol because she is on Disney Channel all the time. She should def not being writing a book because if she was a responsible parent and she knew her kid was in the public eye she should have had her on birth control or something to prevent that. If the book does come out, I am not buying it!
