1000$ or my family are kidnapped!

Imagine the scene:
I arrive home to find my family are being held hostage by masked intruders. They have locked my family in a room and will not let me in to see them.
They tell me that they will kill my family if I don't give them 1000$ in 48 Hours and here is the deal:
1) I can't leave my house;
2) They give me a computer with internet access;
3) They give me a credit card with 200$ on it and that's the only money I can use;
4) I don't know anything about internet marketing
5) I do not have a mailing list
6) I can't call the police or ask other similar organizations to help me;
7) I have to do business on the internet;
8) I do not have a product
9) I am not allowed to you the telephone
10) No one can visit me to help me
You have 48 hours to raise 1000$ on the internet legitimately.
What would you do if this happened to you?
P.S. This didn't really happen to me, I just would love to know what you would do.

Truelly speaking, this is one of the most difficult question,I'm trying to answer for more than 2 years now but I'm still nowhere near the answer. Leave aside $1000 in 48 hours, I've not been able to earn even $100 in last 2 years. So, for me perhaps the only solution is to pray to the God and kidnappers for a change of their heart or may somebody of you tell me the answer before such a situation really happens to me.

Well I know that God works in strange ways, but he may not be the solution in this situation.
But what if this did happen? What would you do?
This is where creativity comes in.
I think we need to set up a ideas bank where we can pool ideas and see what we can come up with!
Then we can all go and make money!
Start with the end in mind. how could you make 1000$ online in one deal?
Someone out there must have an idea!

I am actually reading a book where this happens and i thought it was a great idea for a discussion.
Any ideas?
If any of the ideas are good we could all make 1000$ in 48 hours!

Could be a possibility and thanks for your answer.
Just checking:
Can you get a loan from your bank online within 48 hours without leaving your house or speaking to them on the phone?
If you can do that, it could be a solution.
Although this could meet the requirements, is there anyway I could do this without going into debt?
Let's create the money.

I would hit the Internet casinos. probably play some poker as well as betting on some pro or college games. Heck I might as well have some fun right? Then with minutes left I would just tell them here is the 1000 I transferred from my bank account. Had it the whole time. Personally these are some stupid crooks. They are going through all that trouble to make 800 bucks? Since they only want 1000, plus are giving you 200 it doesn't really seem like the risk/reward is there. Plus you factor in they have been in your house for awhile, are staying at least 24 hours and lets say there are 3 of them. Factor in also the time they spent planning and what not and you are figuring 3 guys, at least 30 hours each thats 150 hours. To make 800 for 150 hours of worth again hardly seems like a plan. They would be better off working at a fast food joint. They would make more and get a discount on fries.

I found your reply really amusing and it made me smile. Thanks for the reply.
Indeed the thieves would have to be stupid, but then in my opinion most thieves are pretty stupid in the first place. So let's assume that they are stupid and carry on.
The online casinos could work, but as we know the casino world is geared to win. However, you could be lucky and win, but personally I wouldn't want to be putting my family on the line with gambling. Maybe I could raffle my family off! Hmmm...
But there is a lot of money to be made if you control the Gambling casino!
Would you be able to setup something legal online that involves gambling?
Or any other ways?

Start searching for work from home jobs and register yourself to as many as possible with $200.00. You would definitely recieve e-mails from them about the job that you need to do and get started with it. But as far as i know there are very few businesses which pays the same day.Once you on it then you can do it.

so this would be a starting point. At least we have an idea now.
The question to ask now would be how to find one work from home job that would pay you 1000$ in 48 hours.
There must be something in this world.
