Currently my best friend is getting involved/entering a serious, romantic relationship with a woman 20yrs his senior. His parents and her parents both wouldn't approve, so both of them are choosing to keep their relationship secret; only disclosing to their closest friends. From what I've experienced and observed, relationships with dramatic age differences are not socially accepted. What are your thoughts/comments/experiences with May/December relationships? I'm curious as to each of your reactions on the subject. Whenever I discuss this topic with friends or family, I get quite spirited opinions. Personally, I see nothing wrong with a large age difference between partners- but that's just me. Tell me what you think! :)

I don't see anything wrong with this kind of relationship specially if the persons involve really love each other. We cannot really choose who we love and your friend is lucky to be able to find that special someone.
But having this kind of relationship, they should be ready to face the reaction of the people around them. Some people will never understand how one of them could fall for the other and people tend to think of the worst reason for having these kind of relationship.
