How to: Raise Children to be Productive Adults?

I often wonder about the way I'm raising my children. I wonder if what I'm teaching them will actually grow with them as they become adults. I wonder how they'll react and act to certain situations and opportunities. Have you ever had these types of questions run through your mind while you watch your children grow. Can anyone give me a few pointers on how to raise productive, responsible, and respectful young adults? All suggestions are welcome. Thanks! johnson3
