I just happen to read several stories about the making of spiderman 4. An one of the issues that i was surprised to hear was Toby Mcguire may or may not play the role of spiderman anymore. I was totally bummed.
Isn't it kind of annoying to replace an already iconic actor for a very famous role????

one word... NO!!! Spiderman is real because Toby brought him to life... if he was to be replaced by someone else... people would only have endless and countless debates over who played the part better... I can imagine that Spiderman is a real because Toby played the part well... if in Spiderman 4 he wouldn't be playing the part anymore... I would still watch it but only for comparative reasons...
It's like Harry Potter... when I'm reading the book I can imagine the scenes well because I've already seen the characters in real life... if one of them is to be replaced... I don't know how I'd imagine the scenes anymore...

Yeah. I hope he plays the role again. It would be less enjoying to watch it now. Oh well, it is still his decision to make and if he thinks it's for the best then okay. Thanks for the response(^^,)

Very annoying! I wonder why? Maybe he has put on weight and won't fit into the suit anymore...lol
It just won't be the same without Toby - my son will be bummed! He has spiderman shoes, sock, undies, shirt, cap - you name it! Lucky for him he inherited it from a friend who outgrew it all - lol
I wonder who else is in the running for the role then?

I've heard Jake Gyllenhaal has been asked to audition for the role but it is still tentative. It's really kinda bumming. (^^,)
