Beijing is a fascinating city. So many years of history preserved in some of its landmarks. Great wall of China being one of them, was great! Since I was a kid I dreamed of going to the wall but when I went there last year, I was stunned. It was beautiful! I only saw The Great Wall in pics during summer and spring. Though the pictures were great, for me it was more beautiful during winter. Imagine the mountains covered with snow and the Great Wall too. I loved it so much... When I was there, we visited the Forbidden City. A whole compound containing China's past. Superb! I also tried to watch an opera in its super modern National Theater. The whole place was surrounded by water. You have to go under the water to enter it. Cool! And also the Olympic Village, great sight. Though was not able to enjoy it that much because I was freezing while we were walking around. Beijing is a place that crosses the boundary of time. From one side you can see its past and on the other side, you will see how they envision the future. Beijing has many things to offer to tourists like me. It is a city where I imagine visiting again and again...

Being has lots of attractions, it is needless to say. well , i think to take a long long walk on the great wall alone is the most fascinating thing i can think of . i once did but not that long as i expected. the further u go, the fewer people u meet. but the beauty of emptiness and the long way strecthing to the far end is exhilarating. One word: miracle!
