The Beatles was a band from the 1960s which have originated from Liverpool, England. It was composed of The Fab Four-- John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. Even though they've split up and went their separate ways, they still remain the most influential rock and roll band in history.
The Beatles have composed a lot of songs and most of them have inspired or influenced the people of their generation and the next in many ways.
I grew up listening to The Beatles since my parents owned their records and I am amused by their songs and their meaning. Their songs always bring up wonderful and sometimes sad memories but still, I love them.
Among the gazillion songs the Beatles have made popular I have Across the Universe, Two of Us, Let It Be, In My Life, If I Fell, Til There Was You, Something, Revolution, I Am the Walrus, Here Comes the Sun, and All You Need Is Love as the very favorites although I love all their songs.
Which Beatles songs have influenced your life?

Paperback Writer, i love it because it sings what i really want to do.
Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds, it's a very sunny and cute track and it just brightens up my day.
Something, i've always loved George, he's my second favorite Beatle. This song is so romantic.
Across the universe! done by Lennon. i memorized the lyrics by heart ever since I was in High School. It's so poetic.

Firstly, welcome!
Now, on to one of my all time fav. bands from the past. Though they were before my time; my parents influenced me a great deal by the Beetles. I love John. He was soooo awesome in the way he expressed his own ways in a manner that helped so many people.

I love the Beatles!
As a child I hated their music but grew to like them more with age. They did so many songs and such a wide variety. I started getting into them more while dating my last ex boyfriend. He loved the beatles! He especially liked John lennon. He would tell me all about them and we'd listen to their cd's all the time. He particularily liked their later more psychadelic stuff.
I saw Across the Universe in theatre twice! I bought the soundtrack the day it came out and the DVD the second day it came out... and only because it was sold out. I swear I went to 5 places to find that DVD. I thought across the universe was very artfully done. The beatles were the perfect band for the movie because they wrote many songs about the issues displayed in the movie.
I like LEt it Be, If i Fell, Revolution, and strawberry fields forever.

Earlier I was singing to I Wanna Hold Your Hand and I kept coming back to that scene in Across The Universe of Prudence singing it. I thought it was weird that she was singing the lyrics, "Oh let me be your man" (seeing as I just saw it in YouTube in parts haha). I thought she was singing to the football player (?). But it was to the cheerleader.

Well since I am probably in the same generation as your parents as I grew up when the Beatles we still together. All of their songs are definetely influential. I remember singing in grade school in choir "Yesterday" and "Michele" which were only a couple of years old or lessat that time.(Yes I am that old ha ha) Those two were probably the most memorable. I loved all of their music and you are right, they have been very influential to many musicians. I really like their real early stuff. My favorite album is a toss up between "Revolver" and "Rubber Soul" .
All members of The Beatles went on to make their own music with John and Paul being the most successful. I love all of their individual works especially Paul McCartney.

I was born in the late 60's. So while I grew up, and as I learned to sing, The Beatles became one of my favorites. I remember my uncle, he had stereo at that time and lots of records, the 33's and the 45's. The Beatles collection was there. And he also got a songbook of most of the Beatles' songs. My favorites are, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Black Bird and Girl to name some...

The first Beatles song that I heard was 'A Hard Day's Night' - it was a very catchy tune, and that led me to more of their songs. I can't really say which one have influenced my life, but my favourite song is 'I Want To Hold Your Hand'.

Sorry. Should have been "...acceptance no matter how painful some experiences may be." What was I thinking? Haha.

Hmm I don't know where to start haha. I was exposed to soo many Beatles songs when I was very young because my parents would listen to them every weekend. But the first song I liked from them was And I Love Her. It was the first song from them I fell in love with. I think I might have been dreaming of my prince charming even haha. Then the song Let It Be. I always feel like crying every time I hear that. It's a song of wisdom and of acceptance no matter how painful they may be.
