Hi Kun, good thing they don't have it there as they already have amazing wonderful wildlife animals and great animal kingdom. Imagine tigers and lions together, WOWWWW...surely they will tear up the whole wildlife kingdom to reign as the king of beast. By the way, we do have lovely tigers over here.
Cheers and have a good weekend.

Hi,my friend,long time not see.
I searched in internet and find below:
'Tigers have never evolved in Africa and most experts now believe all modern subspecies descend from the South Chinese tiger form. From that part of the world tigers gradually made their way as far as Iran and Turkey, but there is no reason to suspect they ever made it as far as Africa.'

Long time no see, my fren.. hehe =D Yeah, u are right ^_^ There are no tigers in africa because they belong to the jungle and forest, but to the desert life ^_^
The stripes on the tiger's body are made to survive in the green environment together with those tall grass ^_^ hehe

Since non tropical animals like kangaroo and penguins could still live nicely and as normal in the zoo of my countries, so I believe tiger still could be kept in the zoo in Africa as well. Animals are usually could adapt themselves to the new environment for survival.

The tiger is not native of Africa, but I've read of plans to release some into Africa to try and preserve the animal. So it may get some, but they don't live there usually.
