Glutathion tabs, dangerous ??

Somebody told me that glutathion tablets (For skin whitening) is dangerous in our health, specially in liver how true it is??

That's odd what I knew before is that glutathione is what makes the liver able to detoxify many poisons and free radicals to the point where glutathione supplement is given in some cases of poisoning to strengthen liver . I guess I better check my information !
