is it good to use rubbing alcohol after showering to prevent pimple?

Somebody asked me this question " Is it good to use rubbing alcohol on your body everyday after showering top prevent pimple?" I don't know where she get this idea, but I answered her that on my opinion alcohol can dry out skin it's best to clean water, soap and use a water based moisturizer. Have you tried it guys? Is it really good? Thanks!
