Why did nexon fail?

Well as the title reads. What do you think nexon did that makes Maplestory a less enjoyable game for you? Personally I think Maplestory is only really fun if you can get some nexon cash but I live outside USA so I can't get any. All the markets are dominated by people with Nexon Cash, all the hunting grounds are covered with high levels just mobbing away for no reason. People say bad things to each other when it's not necessary and mass defame each other for stupid reasons. What do you think nexon did wrong and what improvements could they make?

They made it a game all about the money, now the only way to enjoy the game is through buying nx cash

I still love to play maplestory regardless of what anyone thinks. By the way, U know, u can buy NX on the nexon site with ur paypal account. So that way ppl who don't live in the usa can still get nx. That's how i get mine

well, there are actually ways to get nx besides using paypal, try pay by cash or money order. You'll have to mail it in but its worth the wait. Maplestory is about playing together judging from your point of view your only looking at the side where you need nx to have fun.

because of the NX system and their carelessness of the events, they got better about GM events yes, but you use to be able to win NX cash through contests on the website, and that was a major turn off for me when it turned into "You win a towel" I dont want a towel... I can buy a towel and use it anywhere, I dont necasarily WANT everyone at the beach to know I play MS I want NX because I like NX. but NOOOO they can't do that, and then they messed with the shopping system so a lot of the time the sales are based on you have to get there for a certain time each day to find 3 different items each of those 1 hr time periods, and then I miss out on items because I have a life, and I can't make educated decisions on what to buy because I dont know what they will offer next at what prices, so instead of just buying like crazy like they want me to, I try not to buy at all. yeah I want the old sale system back where they put up a bunch of items for two weeks and everybody just looks generic for 3 months, I kinda like people thinking that I'm too cheap to buy a lot of NX and that I buy just a little.
