(American) English is my native language. Years ago in high school German class, we received a new teacher that came to our school... and some of the students overheard her speaking in German with the outgoing German teacher, which made us all very nervous. Then she came into our class and said (in German) that we would only be speaking German in her classroom - no English! We eventually did figure out that she knew how to speak English (and was actually a native English-speaker as well) when the school asked her to teach English classes... :)

lol! that was really a shocking news huh! good thing if you didnt say any offensive words about her, but if you did you better good to her.. haha! anyway, it's nice thing to realize that there are people who know how to speak other languages.. for me, i see it as an advantage for you because others might not know how to speak that way..

Born and bred in the USA English is the ONLY language I speak! I would love to learn Spanish but it looks like it's a very hard language.

i think you can still learn spanish too.. if you have the patience and determination, i guess there's nothing wrong with learning that language.. you just have to be serious.. and i hope you do learn it!
