Do you believe in marriage?

There was one time when I was browsing through the TV channels and saw this debate of two men. The one who's in favor of marriage, says that if you really love someone, it's the best way to prove it. Getting married would bond a couple together in the eyes of man and God. The other say that it's just full of crap and that marriage is nothing but a piece of paper signed for the sake of legality. What do you think? do you believe in marriage or not?

I don't agree with either of them. You don't need to get married to "prove" your love. And not everyone is Christian and feels the need to be "joined in the eyes of the Lord" or whatever. But, marriage is what you make of it. It's not inherently meaningless, it means what you choose for it to mean. To some people, it is just legality. To others, it's more.

Yes I do believe in marriage. It's I think a best start for a couple who really want a formal bond with each other. It also introducing or telling people that u are really in love with each other and are willing it to known to public. It is also a respect to the woman's family and to hers.
