Still wondering if i have a case.....

I posted a discussion a few days ago about road rage and still havent got enough responses to figure out if i have a case against this man or not. if you havent checked it out could you please and let me know if im wasting my time with thinking about a civil case against this man or do you think i should go for it. its in general discussions.

I think talking to an attorney after the trial is over would be your best option. I don't know Florida law either but there are damages that go along with being the victim of an assault and you may be entitled to be compensated for what this man did, considering your condition and the fact that it was a hate crime. I really wish the State's Attorney had charged him under the hate crime statutes since his punishment could be more severe and I think he deserves more than just a slap on the wrist. This probably wasn't the first time he did something like that.

Yup! I am more concerned about how it has effected my son more then how it has effected me. I havent really brought it up to him much because i dont want to keep having it run thru his mind all the time. i will bring up some questions i have if the states attorney ever calls me back. i only called him 3 days ago and havent got a call back yet.
