This is the title of the article that I just read today from the newspaper. The article says that STRESS from deepening DEBT is becoming a major pain in the neck, and the back, and the head, and the stomach.
To quote the article, When people are dealing with mountainous of debt, they're much more likely to report health problems, too, according to Associated Press-AOL Health poll. And nit just little stuff; this means ulcers, severe depression, even heart attacks.
The finding is supported by medical researched that linked chronic stresses to a wide range of ailments.
Fellow mylotters, what's your opinion or view on this findings? Do you have the same experience?

Hello fortknox75.
I believe this research about the connection between financial problems and serious health problems. I work in the mental health field (20 years plus) and I have seen these phenomena over and over again. Of course, I tend to see the mental health symptoms associated with rising debt of patients.
Luckily, I have not had this type of problem myself. And for that, I am thankful.

well i know that when i was clearing up my debt two years ago i would get migraines and was always in a bad mood. i was having chest pains but i think that was due to being in bad mood and fighting with everyone. having debt can be stress full and we dont always handle things the way we should. it can get to you emtionaly and physically, i mean you worry so much to get them paid off and stay on track.. so yea i think that, that you described in your post can happen...i just refused to let debt kill and leave my kids orphans.

Thanks wandalie for sharing your experience. Yes, having debt is stressful especially when you are having a hard time paying for it. I was in the same situation before and it's a huge relief for me to finally pay my debt completely. There were times before that I felt bothered about it that I couldn't sleep.
Again, thanks and have a great day!
