When I was in my early teens I was into pop music (I know, shame on me lol) but as I got nearer to 15 I started wanting to listen to music with my balls. I started listening to bands not groups and then when I went to college, I was introduced to Kerrang which led to Limp Bizkit, Korn and Slipknot. From then on...things got a whole lot better with the bands I started listening to.

Ok This is going to really date me but it is what it is.....Oroginally it was acid rock in the late 60's and early 70's...Jimi Hendrix--Doors--Iron Butterfly--Cream--and more that I can't think of right now. In the 80's Black Sabbath--Metallica--and we're off to the races!!!! Now there are so many types of Metal that I can't keep up with all of them. My Fav. still is Pantara--Metallica--BLS--Slipnot--Rob Zombie--Godsmack and the list go on......

I got my rock n roll heart in 1980. The first group I loved was Def Leppard. Are they considered Heavy Metal? If not, I got into Metallica back in the 90's.

Like many people, I started with Metallica...Although I didn't find them to be too heavy of a band...Eventually, I got really into Pantera, and from that day on, a metal head was born...I do listen to all sorts of different types of music, but metal is what my speakers are pumping out the mojority of the time...
