Does anyone lie while posting subjects?

I was thinking a few moments ago when I read a very personal post that how do we really know if eveyone is telling the truth. It's really easy to make up stuff and have a new cool post. I just wonder if anyone else has lied while writting and if you think it's okay to do it.

Interesting. No, I've never lied just to post something. And I've never assumed anyone else was lying either. I guess there are those who don't seem to want to talk freely about themselves. Their choice, I guess. I'm not too concerned about people lying because it's none of my business.
