Wedding Day: What Song Do You Want To Hear As You Walk Down the Aisle

Hopefully one of these days I'll find someone worthy enough to marry, and worthy enough to date, until then I can dream about my wedding day. I would love to walk down the aisle to Canon in D...it's so beautiful, and yet sad, it's so distinct I love it. What would you like to walk down to or what did you walk down the aisle to, or what song would you like to dance with your husband to?

When I walked down the aisle it was to the traditional wedding song (you know...da da dada...). Our first song as hubby and wife was Hero by Enrique Englesias (or however it's spelled).

Hi Callie, I think Cannon in D would be a wonderful choice. If I ever meet a guy that wants to take that plunge with me, I think I'll go with the more traditional Here comes the bride as I walk down the aisle. Hugs, Tianna

I used to always want a more "traditional" wedding with a trumpet fanfare or Canon in D or something, but the older I get, the more I want the wedding to be personal rather than traditional. The most important thing is to choose a song that you love and that makes you smile, and who cares what the tradition is or what anyone else will think? I think Canon in D is a gorgeous choice. If my boyfriend pops the big question, I would like to walk down the isle to a single piano playing Amazing Grace.

That is romantic. I have never walked down the aisle but I've been married numerous times. lol I can't think of a song I'd like to have playing if I ever do walk down the aisle, which I won't ever again. lol But it's an interesting question.

I liked From This Momment by Shania Twain. Are you getting married soon? If so is it going to be a bid wedding or a small gathering? I love weddings. I like to see people happy and in love!
