I'm not surprised your dog learns quickly. Poodles are one of the most 'intelligent' breeds, and the most easily trained, which is why they are the top 'circus' dog act. He looks a lovely dog though there's definately a touch of mischief in those eyes, so you might find the name Terror-poodle more fitting occassionally. I have a German Shepherd and she's the nicest natured dog I've ever had, and one of the smartest too. Training her is so easy. She's a very affectionate dog with those she regards as friends whether animal or human. Although she's 4 we have only had her a year but she's everything to me, my constant companion and my protector and a full member of our mixed species 'pack'. She gets on great with the 2 cats we have and often shares her bed and food (they all get the same raw meat)with both.

Wow, my Chihuahua terrier looks so much like your terradoodle. Mine is not as good. She's a little demon dog. I love her though. She has such a strong personality and is so fun to play with. There's a picture of her in my profile.
