Just cuz i like football y do i get picked on??

All my life i have been made fun of just cuz i play football! or that is what they say! Why does it always turn out like that?? I have played since i was young and no matter what i do i always have to prove that i am better then they boys!! How do i avoid being harrassed just cuz i like football????? And why is there only a league for men????

Keep playing the sport you love. If you are good enough you can play on in to high school. You are always going to here people talk about you for playing football, because it is primarily a mans sport. Don't let that hold you back, use it as motivation and play hard. Good Luck

You have some valid points. I agree you should be able to play USA football if you want. I'm not sure why there is not a league for woman. That would be a good discussion with NFL, right? You are given a hard time because of your gender. As you state the boys think they can only play it and that girls can't play it good. As you know that's not true. Have a wonderful day.
