My advice is to let him go. You will never be able to trust him again. Even if he comes running back to you and tells you how sorry he is and he'll never ever do it again. No matter what, things will never be the same. I've been through this twice. I even remarried my first husband -- I did it for the sake of our children, plus the fact that I loved the guy. It didn't work. I couldn't trust him and he did cheat on me again anyway.
So do yourself a favor and get him out of your house and move on with your life.

I agree, you would never get back to the way things used to be. Take it from someone who had parents that tried to stay together after dad cheated, everything changes. I was too young to know what happened, all I knew was things felt different. They tried to act the same as always,but we all felt that something was missing and would never return.
