I guess I really only have one thing to add. It is a good idea to search AC before writing an article. If you write something that is very different from what they already have and has SEO in mind then you will find that you will be offered more upfront money for it. That can make a huge difference in your earnings there and in the number of articles accepted for upfront payment. Remember that you will still earn $1.50 for every article that your receive upfront payment for, but also for every article you give AC for free. This can increase your earnings each month.

These ideas you have gotten from other mylotters are really great helps. I am still trying to learn how to make money on Associate Content. I am having the hardest time getting the hang of what they want and how to get paid. God bless.

You are so right. Choosing the right keyword niche to write about and getting backlinks to your AC articles are very important.

The first thing to do is write some good articles. Choosing topics is important because you'll want to write about things that aren't oversaturated (written by everybody and too common) but have good keywords for the search engines. In one day alone I got 1500 page views on one article just because it was search engine friendly. To make your articles even more search engine friendly you'll want to link to them in anyway you can - stick them on your profile pages on sites, write about them in a blog, etc. These are called backlinks and the more you have the higher page rank you will have. The next thing to do is network with other people on AC. You can add me as a friend here: http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/120097/chelle.html Leave comments on others articles and always reciprocate comments back to those who comment on yours. You can also use sites like stumbleupon.com to help get your page views up - I've gotten as many as 700 hits to my blogs from stumble upon! The more places you submit your articles to the better! You can also create your own feed that people can subscribe to, though this is a little complicated: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/765345/how_to_create_an_rss_feed_for_your.html?cat=15 That's a good start and should keep you busy for awhile!

Associated Content pays two ways: 1) Upfront Payments - upfront payments are a lump sum payment for an article. Any article that you write is eligible for an upfront payment as long as you agree to publish it exclusively with AC. 2) Performance Payments - Performance payments are made on every article that you write. Simply, for every 1,000 pages of your work that is read, AC will pay $1.50. While the site indicates that an article must reach 1,000 views before you get paid, this is not the case. AC pays monthly for all page views from the previous month.
