I am almost ready to get my first payout from Mylot, but I swore never to use Paypal again, due to some things that happened while I was selling on ebay.. I would like to know if anyone uses Moneybooker to receive their payments from Mylot?? Do you or have you used Moneybookers, is it safe, have you received payments from them?? I do not want to use Paypal ever, ever again, but need to find a way to recieve payments from Mylot, so can anyone Please Help.. Thanks so much..

I had never even heard of Moneybookers before I joined MyLot, so I've no experience of them I'm afraid. I'm using PayPal here, just because I already have an account. I've heard so many bad things about PayPal though that I am very wary of them. Thankfully nothing bad has ever happened to me, but I still treat them with suspicion.

That may only be because of how many times the consumer buys something that was misrepresented! I hope you can forgive them or accept the fee at moneybookers!

I believe that I will accept the fee at Moneybookers, becuase I never misrepresented any items that were sold on ebay and I should not have to pay for the ones that did misrepresent their items.. I had over 2300 auctions and only a few problems.. Thanks for the thoughts..

I used Paypal for years and the only time that I had trouble was when I was cheated by new buyers on ebay and I thought that Paypal should have found in my favor.. But in almost all of the ebay transactions, Paypal has a habit of finding in the favor of the buyer, not the seller, no matter what each person's reputation is.. Thanks so much for the input, I appreciate it..

I prefer PayPal because I think it is very secure and you can trust it,even though anything you use online always has the chance to be hacked, and my cousin had a PayPal,and he was telling me about how one day it got hacked, and he said he if found the guy who did it,he would beat his behind.

I am pretty sure that even Paypal can get hacked.. My son is a computer geek and he does things that you wouldn't believe between my computer and his.. I am sure that Paypal is as secure as it can be but you also said that you had a friend whose Paypal got hacked, so it isn't 100% secure.. Thanks so much for the response.. Have a great day..

Yeah I know its amazing what some people can do with a computer, and I know even PayPal can get hacked, but I trust it more than other money sites, and I know a lot of people who use PayPal,and have no problems with it, and you are very welcome for the response,I was more than happy to respond to you,and I hope that by responding to other peoples discussions they will respond to mine, have a great day, good luck in your life ,and Happy Posting.

I prefer Paypal, its safe when used with caution. There are many scams going on both in paypal and moneybookers. I'm not exactly sure how they work, but i am aware of those and i'm very careful. I don't personally like moneybookers, i tried it but never got cash in it. I suggest you should try to give Paypal a new chance. I use paypal and havn't had any problems yet.

And I have wondered if anybody else ever feels that way, about not using a company that caused too much trouble! Makes me wonder what ever happened to boycotting!

If I am reading the terms right, we have to have a Paypal or a Moneybookers account.. I hope this is right because I am not going to use Paypal at all and I wanted to find out if anyone else on here had used the Moneybookers and what it was like.. I am very adament about never using Paypal again.. I will leave my money setting in here before I use Paypal.. Thanks so much and check on it, I believe you can use either one.. Have a wonderful day..

I prefer Paypal. Paypal is used by many merchants while buying/selling goods. Though it sometimes creates problem in ebay, I prefer the Trustworthy Paypal.

Paypal is trustworthy but I have been cheated with false chargebacks 4 or 5 times on ebay and Paypal never sided with me, just on the side of the buyer, even though I had over 2300 auctions and was in the right.. I felt as if I was a proven seller and a trusted customer with that many positive feedbacks, and was cheated by people with a very few feedbacks, so I really don't like to use Paypal at all.. Even though Paypal has never given me trouble outside of ebay, I still have problems with even thinking of using them again.. Thanks for the input..

It wasn't really the percentges that made me so mad, I sold on ebay for a few years and was 100% open and obove board about my items.. I described any minute flaw, I was completely honest with everyone whom I came in contact with.. I don't like dishonesty and never will but that was one of the problems, I wasn't going to be cheated by others, just as I would never cheat them.. So, I thought with just the numbers, Paypal and Ebay should have sided with me knowing my reputation VS. the very small feedback of the newcomers.. I seemed to me that it was a common sense problem and ebay nor Paypal had the common sense.. Thanks for your thoughts..

I hope you do well in your ebay selling.. I did really well for quite awhile until too many dishonest buyers started cheating me and doing chargebacks with Paypal, then Paypal gave them their money back and I was just out in the cold as far as money, fees and merchandise.. I do wish you luck with your selling and hope you don't have any trouble with anyone, good luck..

I would use paypal also if I had not have had so much extra trouble with them.. I hoped that more people would have used Moneybookers and had good things to say about them, but Paypal is the most used for collecting and making payments.. Thanks so very much for the input..

Hi there. Congrats for your first payment. I haven't got mine though. Huh. Anyway, this is the first time I heard of Moneybookers too. And even though I am not familiar with its security system but at least it pays directly to my local bank unlike PayPal. However who/what else uses Monybookers? Is it used internationally like PayPal? Hmm... But still gonna stick to moneybookers.

Paypal can freeze your account or it can do chargebacks and you almost always lose your money.. Paypal found in my favor one time only and then the other persons charge card company found in their favor, so I was still out my money and my merchandise.. I do not know anything about Moneybookers, but Mylot does offer it as an option to getting paid.. I am going tocheck it out further.. thanks so much for the thoughts and have a great evening..

I haven't received payment from both but PayPal has made it's name for years now. So I guess PayPal is more reliable and trustworthy. Moneybookers for me, is also reliable since it even sent me a mail here in the Philippines to verify my address, under my request of course. Based on the responses, PayPal would be more suitable.

I think Paypal is the best thing to use. Well it's just my opinion. There seems to be more websites that allow you to use Paypal. Although people use Moneybooker Paypal seems to be popular among many people. Accepted just about everywhere, worldwide so it's a good idea to get paid on Paypal. If you had a bad experience with Paypal, I can't really say much to you but maybe you could give it another go. If you are willing you can transfer money from paypal to other paying websites.

I have had about 3 or 4 bad experiences with Paypal and really do not want to use them again.. But I would love to hear from someone who has used Moneybookers so that I can make a decision as to which one I am going to use when I do get my first payday from Mylot.. Thanks so much..

Thanks so much, I do believe Paypal is in the lead but I am still not sure if I will ever go back to them again.. I was really hoping for someone to say, yes, I use Moneybookers and they are great but out of all of the responses, only one person has used Moneybookers.. I was hoping for more people rooting for Moneybookers.. Thanks so much for the response..
