Taking off work

Finally time for vacation... It's kinda lame, but my boyfriend and I are taking off Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday to travel a few states away to New Jersey to go to Six Flags with two friends for some roller coaster ridin'!!
We are also traveling south in October while it's still warm but not soooo hot to stay in a mansion in South Carolina for a week with his parents.
I'm looking forward to both trips, it's always nice to get away!

Well I guess I'm hoping to get a vacation or trip the other way around. Before I start a job, I wanted to go somewhere (a getaway or something). Maybe if i'll start my job, I won't have the free time as I have now anymore. I know that it's not easy to go off work whenever you like. So I'm kinda hoping my plans of going somewhere will be push through. ;)

Not lame at all, any time away from the regular week is good :)
I don't usually travel myself, as I am pretty happy where I am, but this summer, sometime, I will be making a trip to Seattle so that I can attend the wedding of one of my stepsons. I probably won't stay longer than a day or two, as I don't like Washington and all its humidity. But, it will be nice to see my kids and grandkids since they never come down to the desert LOL

Sounds like some fun vacations. We went to Disney's Magic Kingdom here in Florida early this month and to the beach. It was nice and we all had a great time.

Any break from the norm is not lame. What matters is did you have fun. We have no big trips planned for the summer. We can thank the high cost of gas for that.

I don't have any plan of trip this summer. It's very hot this summer. I will don't go any where until the whether is cool, there is flood in summer when raining. So in the summer even it raining or hot, I also can't go out. I'd like to travel in Spring and Autumn, in the summer or winter, I just go to some where very near, and will don't go out when it's very cold or hot. Bad weather will make us feeling bad, and maybe ill, don't have much spirit for travel.

Hi Bethany, that's great, unwinding is very exciting and lots of fun. I know you will be enjoying and will bring more topics/post as you'll be back..LOL! We are also scheduling our vacation beginning of July.....Silver Dollar City or Six Flags!
