be myself

There are people who change like a chameleon according to the colour.They obviously have some motive. Do ou think it is an advantage to be oneself to give the world your true identity or is it because it is a chnaging world that we also have to change accordingly...............
All said and done i like to be myself and let the world accept my as I am......

When I was in high school, I changed myself so much to fit in with different groups and while I had a million aquaintances, I had no real friends. When I finally realized that I was being fake, I stopped and was just myself. I became genuine friends with good people and wouldn't have it any other way. While I don't think it's necessary to show your entire self to the world, there's no need to show an untrue version of yourself.

As my icon says, I am always me. I had a friend who changed personalities every time she was around a different person. I really got tired of it. I can't imagine doing that.
Whether it is an advantage or not depends on who you are trying to please...someone else or yourself. I would much rather be true to myself. I have to live in my own skin, not anyone elses.
