Washing machine - Washing machine..

I bought the New washing machine, in last year, because during the morning times, i don't have a time to sit and wash the cloths, if we buy the Washing machine, then we can make use of the same, by saving the Time. But after a week, we are not satisfied with the washing the cloths through the Washing machine, so, we used to start again by washing ourself.. Because the cliniless is not perfect in the washing machine washing, is not equllent to the hand wash cloths. so, now-a-days, we used the said washing machine only for drying purposes during the Rainy season. Since we both travel by the Two wheeler, our dress become more dirty due to the outside moisture, This can be removed only by the hand wash. What about you, do you use your Washing machine to wash your cloths, or to using the dryer alone.. Post your comments..

The washing machine is a very useful appliance. Here in the philippines a lot of people still wash clothes using their bare hands. Having this machine spares a lot of time and at the same time gives quality cleaning. I believe though that using bare hands still offers a decent cleaning than the machine but it consumes a lot of time and it's very tiring. We also use the machine for drying but we hang them out to dry after.

Its mentality of the people to wash the same in hands, they feel that it will be clean when we wash by hands..

i usually just dump my clothes in the washing machine, ours is the automatic one. but for some delicate clothes and most of my working clothes i'll hand wash it. i usually do my laundry once a week, most of the time during the weekends since weekdays i'm working and will be tired when i get back home

Yes, I know what you mean about certain stains not coming out in the washing machine. I have noticed that. Most times, I will simply hand wash something as it is faster for me. It doesn't take too much effort. However, pretreating often does work. Wet the stain and surrounding area. Just rub laundry soap over the stain, agitate, and allow to sit for fifteen minutes to one hour. Then put into the washing machine. Many stains will pop right out! Best of luck. Thanks for sharing a story from your day.

Not at this moment but I do use one. I can't imagine what I would ever do if they didn't exsist. I might just go dirty and live in my own filth rather than scrub each individual item by hand.

I ordinarily wash clothes by myself, except that when I need to dry clothes and wash the quilts.I also think clothes washed by washing machine are not clean enough, though it wastes much time.

I can't imagine having to handwash all our clothes. I used the washer/dryer all the time. Our clothes don't get that dirty, so, they come clean in the automatic washer.

I use the washer all the time and it gets my clothes clean. There is no way that I could do all of our laundry by hand. I have a load in the washer now and a load in the dryer and will continue to use both of them while I am on here today. I am trying to earn at least a dollar here today but I have to do laundry too so it sure helps using the machine.

This is a very interesting conversation since it shows a lot about different cultures. Here in America very few know how to wash clothes by hand. I did it in my sink in college (a few years back) because there wasn't a way to do it in a washing machine and I had no car to go to the laundry mat. Since then, our laundry is done in the washer and dried in the dryer. Does your washer dry as well as wash? My mother in law uses the washer and then hangs her clothing outside to dry, I think I would do this if it wasn't for the fact that we live in an apartment and have no place to do this at. Anyway, thanks for enlightening me to other cultures!

chennai you must not have gotten a very good' washing machine because the ones I use get my' clothes much cleaner than doing anything by hand' as they not only wash but spin dry so allyou havetop do is pout the clean clothes into the dryer, why go to the tedious work of doing stuff by hand. thats 1908 not 2008 thinking. where do you live,we use washing machines on the USA altogether and our clothes are clean.

i use a washing machine for all my clothes unless the tag says handwash only. I have way too much laundry to wash it all by hand, i couldnt imagine doing that. Maybe try spot treating stains before putting them into the wash and then the stains will lift easier.

Personally I think washing machine is one of the best inventions so far as it is very practical and handy for our daily life. In my family, there are only my hubby, our daughter and I. But for dirty laundry, I have to use washing machine at least two rounds per week. In our busy life, I find a big relief while seeing the machine wash all the dirty clothing and turn those into clean with scented smell one less than one hour. I cannot imagine if I wash them one and one by hand…

Well, I do agree that washing machine can not eliminate the dirt in our clothes although it would make our washing easier for us. We can do other things while washing through washing machine. Specially the bed sheets? it's more comfortable to wash them using washing machine. But I can not trust the washing machine for my very dirty clothes, I wash them by hand much more for the socks, they should be washed by hand. I used the dryer during winter time but when it is sunny day, I dry the clothes outside to save electricity. Good luck to you girl..

Hi! we do use washing machine. We use it everyday and sort of used to washing clothes in machine itself. Actually you will have soak the clothes in detergent and then scrub with brush, its just two minutes work. So it would be lot more convienent for you to use washing machine. Happy Mylotting!

I put everything in the clothes washer even if it says that it is a hand wash item only (on the tag). So you wash everything by hand? Like in a sink or something? I really couldn't imagine with five people living in my house doing that. It would seem so time consuming. I use the dryer as well but would like to hang the clothes out to dry to saving on the power bill but I haven't had time to put up a clothes line.

Hi there chennai_b02!I dont use washing machine unless at home.I think there may not health for the family members. The bacterium could transmited by clothes,so the antiseptic is an important thing to puting into the washing machine.Of course, there was no washing machine till last semester and I insist washing by myself.Because I am not clear which thing has put in before I am using it.Maybe shoes, underwear or ...So I still washing by my own hand and it also let me know washing is not a easy labor then I definitely clear why black is the most popular color in the university especially to men.
