Do you groom your dog yourself or leave that to a professional groomer?

Since years I am grooming my dogs myself. I spare the money for the professional groomer. And it looks great too.
How do you handle that? Do you prefer a professional groomer or do you it yourself?

I don't have a dog any more. But when I had them, I did the grooming myself - gave them baths, brushed them, clipped their nails. Doing it myself allowed for more bonding time with them, and they seemed to love it. It's also what I'll do when I get another one.
