have you ever analyzed the way your own mind / brain works?

Okay, I guess I've started a strange question right now.
I have recently found out the way my own mind (brain) works. :P No wonder there were times when I just got stuck in updating my projects and only faced hours of frustration.
It seemed like in every hour, a human's mind (brain) would always have an up and down (fluctuate) in handling the thought (either solving a hard problem or whatever) for certain range of minutes.
I meant ... I found mine like this:
In every one hour, my brain would meet the maximum 45 minutes of full capability of thinking [the best thought / solving it could], and then the remaining 15 minutes I would feel like it refused to think more on the same thing. LOL. So sometimes I feel myself like a Windows OS (well ... just example, Friend) that could work fully in 45 minutes, then when it entered the last 15 minutes phase of that hour, my mind would enter the phase of "having screen saver". LOL.
So, if I obeyed the way my mind fluctuated during the day, my update towards the work project would be good. So if I kept 45 minutes working 15 minutes giving my mind (brain) a 'treat' for its hard working, for every one working hour, I would work well during the day.
But if I forced my mind to "turn back" to its 45 minutes phase when it should have its 15 minutes 'screen saver' phase, my mind / brain would rebel on me and I couldn't even think any longer. LOL.
Have anyone analyzed how their brain / mind handle things? I think it's really interesting to know how our own mind / brain works!

I know with my brain, I have to think and re think something, unless it is something I was all ready taught, I have found that after 20 minutes or so later, I have to take a break and do something else, then go back to it. I have neutrons all messed up in my head, and I think this has something to do with how I process things. But, the way you speak of really makes a lot of sense, that way you are not over loading your brain, thank you for sharing

hi lynn, thanks for sharing too. that's good that you also know the way your brain work and how you have to take a break for a while and do something else before going back to it again.
I think by recognizing the way our brain works, we would know how to treat it and how to 'ask' it work without overloading it.
have a good day! :)

I agree totally, thanks for the mark. But, it is all true, my brain is very different, well, I guess everyone's brain is different, but I process things slow at times, and then at times I process as clear as day. Have a great one and sorry, I did not respond sooner, I have not been on due to illness. take care. :)

hello lynn, sorry to hear that you have been ill. hope you have gotten well. ^_^
no worry about the different working way of our brains. everyone is unique and so is our brain too. ;)
have a good day back in myLot!

I have tried to analyze how my mind works so that I can be more productive in evrything I do, work, relationships, myself, etc. However, I always double guesded myself and I got frustrated just trying to figure it out so I decided to stop and just let myself be lol it's really cool that you found out how yours works!

LOL, thanks. I think I just found my luck by recognizing the pattern after so many years of frustration. For your case, probably you should take it easy, not put yourself in too much hard effort of analyzing your brain all the time.
I found my case after I finally recognized the pattern of my productivity hours versus non-productive hours and decided to put myself into a self-test situation to see if it really worked like that.
Hopefully you will also find out the pattern of your mind's work soon, to help you become more productive as you always wish. Good luck and happy myLotting!

I never analyzed the way my mind works. I am too busy thinking, but I do know that sometimes I do not think I know how to do something, but just like a flash, I can do it. For instance, even though I did not squint my forehead, or say, "oh how does this thing work," I can unfold a lawn chair when no one else can. I can hear a piece of music and play the exact notes. I was trying my Spanish lessons and even though I thought I could not do it, I was able to get most of the questions right. But if you are talking about when my mind is the sharpest, I have no idea. It just keeps going on and on.

I think that's cool that you start this discussion. I often think about my brain too, lol. I took a test online recently and it said that I'm balanced brained. You know, instead of just using the left or right? So I use both sides equally in my daily life. That's kind of neat, right? I don't think I've had many screen saver moments, but most of the time it was probably when I couldn't sleep. I think it's really cool how our brain works.

wow, that's great to have that balance use of your brain. sometimes when I got stuck in thinking (back then, when I did my exams in school / university), I found out that when I switched the writing tool to my left hand, I could recollect the memory or even thought another way of solving the test's question. LOL. I don't know why I had been always like that, but probably because my left and right brain handled things differently and there was something to trigger the exact needed brain.
yeah, our brains are amazing, right? someone stated that even super artificial intelligent computer couldn't surpass human's brain. I think the person really make a valid point.

Damn, this is a great question. Its hard to understand ow the brain works and i think its a tough process to figure out because we are using our brains to solve he function of our bain lol

hi nevets090, welcome to myLot!
yes, I know it's hard to understand how the brain works and I have been through a lot of self test and tryout to see if my analyzing on the pattern of my brain's activity is really that way. LOL. but it's really frustrating during the tryout and analyze before I come to the final conclusion. :P
wish the best for your experience too! happy myLotting!
